Staircase, Front Door & Garage Door Northwood

Project overview

A family home in Northwood where the natural oak staircase was painted to give the hallway a lighter, more modern look. The curved balustrade, spindles, handrails and newel posts, the panelling and cupboard door under the stairs, the landing balustrade and the frame of the stairwell window were all painted a soft grey. Outside, the front door went from deep red to dark navy with a crisp white frame, and the garage door was repainted from white to a dark blue-grey. Upstairs, a bedroom's purple floral feature wallpaper came off and the walls were painted a calm grey, the window frames were prepared and repainted, and a wooden toy box was painted to match.
